Park City's mining history goes back to the 1800s! Before we were a ski town, this was a community that plumbed the depths of the Wasatch mountains for silver. Every year in early September, we celebrate that history on Miner's Day. With a parade on Main Street, the Running of the Balls, and family-friendly activities all day, you'd be hard pressed not to have fun and learn some incredible history along the way. Back to Top of ListCopper Moose is a small-scale, organic vegetable and cut-flower farm. September is a fantastic time to stop by their farm stand as the season is in full swing. They're busy planting, growing, and harvesting in the fields and greenhouses to stock the farm stand with fresh produce for you to enjoy. A visit to the Copper Moose is a special experience as you'll find only freshly harvested produce, flower bouquets, and an array of artisan goods from other local community partners.

Grab a Bloody Mary and soak in live music, take a yoga class, and more. Park Silly is an open air market on lower Main Street, making it the perfect jump off point to check out the rest of Old Town or set off on an exploratory hike on the nearby trails!

Park City’s art scene is thriving, offering a robust variety of unique art collections from local, national, and international artists. Hosted by the Park City Gallery Association, nineteen art galleries open their doors for visitors and locals alike to enjoy light refreshments and to admire their latest art installations.
Park City Gallery Stroll runs from 6:00 – 9:00pm on the last Friday of each month. It’s the perfect way to explore the Park City art scene while enjoying scenic Historic Main Street and our beautiful alpine evenings.
