National Ability Center

Operating for 40 years, The National Ability Center (NAC) is a non-profit in Park City that provides adaptive recreation opportunities for persons with disabilities in an environment free of discrimination and exclusion. From two locations in Park City and one in Moab, UT, the NAC provides a wealth of recreation opportunities: skiing, rock climbing, archery, equestrian therapy, cycling, and more. Their “why” is driven by the belief that a disability should never stand in the way of living an active and fulfilling life.

Getting to the National Ability Center

The NAC operates out of two locations in Park City: The Ranch and McGrath Mountain Center. Located just 40 minutes from the Salt Lake International airport or 15 minutes from the Heber Valley airport, both locations have easy access to singletrack trails and ski runs and their own equestrian, high ropes, and archery facilities—just a few among many other opportunities. Park City Transit provides accessible transportation options in addition to service by High Valley Transit's micro-service in addition to rideshares. The NAC is also accessible via paved pathways and trails. On-site parking at both locations is available as well.
