Park City has a lot of great mountain biking, but it's not always clear where you can take your family. Kids may need a fun pump track or your teen might want a flow trail. And you may need a lift lap or long XC loop. Or maybe everyone in the family needs a lesson to hone their trail skills. Regardless, the trail network in Park City has what you need to get the whole family out riding. Below are a few key riding areas with a variety of trails plus a few extra amenities for pre- or post-ride fun!

The Trailside Bike Park started over two decades ago as an Eagle Scout project by a passionate local rider! Since then it has grown into a collection of trails with progressive features including jump lines, wood ladders, technical rock rolls, multiple pump tracks, and beginner, intermediate, and expert level trails. And an easy up trail gets you from the top to the bottom in ten minutes or less!

Nestled into the southern end of Trailside park, the bike park connects to the wider Round Valley trail system. Plus there are ball fields, sport courts, playgrounds, and a skatepark. Trailside is one of the best areas to take your family mountain biking!

The RTS loops are part of the trails surrounding the Utah Olympic Park (UOP). The RTS loop in particular is a great beginner mountain bike ride for the whole family. But the more able siblings or parents can pedal over to BYOB, Moose Puddle, and Iron Bill for more tech and flow. Across the street is a massive off leash dog park for Fido.

After your ride, head up to the UOP and catch a Flying Aces ski jumping show, ride the zip lines and bobsled track (yes, you can do that), or check out some ski and Olympic History at the Alf Engen museum

Accessing Round Valley from the Quinn's Junction parking area gives you a lot of options for family mountain bike rides. Starting on the Big Easy trail (it's in the name, right?), your family can ride mellow trails like Practice Loop to warm up and then move up the hill toward Porc-U-Climb and Downward Dog. To step it up, Somewhere and Nowhere Elks are great intermediate trails with longer climbs and faster descents. At the end of the ride there are playgrounds and ball fields to play and unwind!
