TEDxParkCity

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. TEDxParkCity received one of the first 100 TEDx licenses issued by TED in 2009 with support from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation TEDxChange program. Today, there are more than 3,800 TEDx licenses globally. TEDxParkCity produces recurring annual events such as TEDxParkCity Women and TEDxParkCity Youth involving TED-produced and wholly original content. Teri Orr is the principal organizer of all things TEDxParkCity. It is operated now in conjunction with the non-profit TEDxSanDiego. Orr, a member of the TED community, has presented TEDxWomen, TEDxYouth, TEDxQatar, TEDSummit.
