Versante Hearth + Bar

Back to Top of List

Located in the Park City Peaks Hotel, Versante offers an enticing selection of wood-fired flatbread pizzas crafted in their signature hearth oven. A must-try is their standout creation, the Speziato, featuring a tasty combination of capicola, serrano, peppadew peppers, and parmesan cheese. Pair your meal with a carefully curated selection of local craft beers or a glass of wine from their extensive list. The warm, inviting atmosphere, complete with rustic decor and a cozy fireplace, makes it an ideal spot for both casual dining and special occasions.

Newer to the pizza/food scene in Park City, located at lower Main Street, is LOMA. This restaurant puts a fresh spin on Italian cuisine, emphasizing the natural essence of each ingredient. Their dishes are crafted to be lighter than traditional Italian fare while staying true to authentic flavors. Guests can enjoy a unique menu featuring specialties like the wood-fired white clam pizza or try the bresaola pizza.

“Our pizzas at LOMA combine traditional flavors with a bit of the unexpected; for example, our hot honey and pepperoni add a layer of sweetness and a little spice to a traditional pizza. The bresaola, roasted fig, taleggio and arugula pizza combines the savory properties of the bresaola and taleggio cheese with the fresh and sweet flavors of the Californian figs and peppery local arugula.” Adam Ross, chef/owner.

Fuego Bistro & Pizzeria

Back to Top of List

Following an extensive research process, the owners of Fuego found a suitable pizza oven with a wood-fired design tailored to their specific requirements. The next priority involved sourcing high-quality ingredients locally when possible, with a strong preference for organic options wherever feasible.  These efforts culminated in creating a dining experience aimed at the need for an affordable, family-friendly restaurant specializing in Italian cuisine, with an emphasis on standout pizza dishes.  Try the Wasatch, a house-special pizza made with a blend of honey tomato chipotle sauce, mozzarella, pancetta, fresh pineapple and cilantro.

Davanza's in Park City is a must-visit for pizza lovers, offering a variety of delicious options that keep locals and visitors coming back for more. One of their standout pizzas is the Muckers Supreme, loaded with a very generous mix of toppings. Davanaza's is a Park City staple and one of the longest standing pizza joints in town—it's casual and welcoming atmosphere is enhanced by its unique collection of beer cans that adorn the walls, adding a quirky and nostalgic charm to the dining experience. In addition to their famous pizzas, Davanza's also serves tacos, burgers, and Philly Cheesesteak subs, ensuring there's something for everyone. Despite its popularity, the laid-back vibe and friendly service make it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great meal.

Where else can you get beautiful cuts of meat and Detroit-style wood-fired pizzas crafted from scratch? Nowhere that I know of. I recommend the "Four Corners"—a gluten-free option with a perfect blend of tangy tomato sauce, gooey mozzarella, and flavorful salumi. Chop Shop in Kimball Junction takes pride in using high-quality ingredients and strives to cater to diverse tastes, ensuring every guest leaves with a memorable experience.

Also new to the pizza scene, meet Matilda. Brought to you by the talented team behind Park City favorites Five5eeds and Tilly's Charcoal Chicken, Matilda's draws inspiration from Australian cuisine while showcasing unique, high-quality flavors.  A naturally leavened sourdough crust crafted to perfection makes their pizza a standout. They’ve created a crust that strikes the ideal balance of texture and flavor through extensive experimentation with hydration, fermentation, and ingredient ratios. It’s crisp on the outside, light and airy on the inside, and enriched with the distinctive tanginess that only natural sourdough can deliver.
