Getting To and Around Park City

Park City is very easy to get to in the summer. Just 35 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport for domestic and international flights and just 15 from Heber Valley Airport for private planes, you can land and be riding, hiking, or exploring the same day! Being centrally located in the western United States, Park City is a day or so drive from most major cities.

Free Public Transportation

Whether you arrive by plane or drive to Park City, summer is a beautiful time to be outside and soaking in the incredible scenery. You are encouraged to forgo a rental car or park your personal vehicles and utilize Park City's robust and free public transportation system. There isn't an area or neighborhood that doesn't have a free bus line. Park-and-Ride lots and bus rapid transit lanes make entering and moving through town very easy and comfortable. Most hotels offer free bike and gear storage and shuttle services between your accommodations and attractions in Park City while ride shares provide quick and easy connections between airports and other sites around town.

Ride the Summit Bike Share

One of the best ways to see Park City is by bike. Park City has miles and miles of cycling lanes and safe, paved bike paths that wrap in and around attractions and destinations throughout town. To make the most of these scenic paths, Park City has the nations first public electric-assist bike share, letting you pedal through Park City with the help of a small electric motor. The electric-assist bikes act just like regular bikes but don’t have any complicated gears or buttons to learn, you just simply begin pedaling and the bike provides an extra boost to get you moving and up any hilly terrain without breaking a sweat!
