Free Park City Transit System

Park City has a robust transit system designed to provide you convenience and cost savings along the way. Every neighborhood, trailheads, Woodward, Park City Mountain, Woodward Park City, and Deer Valley Resort are accessible by Park City's free bus system with additional connections to neighboring communities in the Wasatch Back and Salt Lake City.

Additionally, Summit County operates the Summit Bike Share, a fleet of over 200 electric-assist commuter bikes dispersed around town during the warmer months to help you get around town. So, ditch the car and save some money on gas. You'll be helping us reduce congestion and emissions too. Check out the options below to learn more about transit and mobility options while you're in Park City!

Tips for Getting Around Park City Without a Car

Navigating Park City is refreshingly straightforward once you know the rhythm. A few things to keep in mind before you arrive:

  • Download the RidePC app to track buses in real time and plan routes between your lodging, the resorts, and Old Town.
  • Plan around peak windows. Buses run frequently, but ski season mornings (7:00 – 9:00 a.m.) and afternoons (3:00 – 5:00 p.m.) see heavier ridership. Giving yourself a little buffer makes the experience a lot smoother.
  • Grab a Summit Bike Share pass early in your stay. Electric-assist bikes are a great backup for short trips when you want flexibility without the parking headache.
  • Ask your hotel concierge. Many properties offer scheduled shuttles to the mountain and Main Street. Confirm your pickup times when checking in.

A little planning up front means you can leave the car keys in the drawer for the rest of your trip.
