The 4th of July Parade and 5k Run
Back to Top of ListTo start July off with a bang, the Fourth of July celebration and parade in Park City is the best place to start.
Park City's Fourth of July Celebration will be hosted on Friday July 4, 2025. The day kicks off with a 5k fun run, parade (begins at 11:00 a.m.), games and gathering in City Park, and will culminate with a drone show at Park City Mountain. Not sure where to watch the drone show from? Park City Mountain is best. You should also have a good view of the show from Park City Golf Course, City Park, and Lower Main Street.
The Fourth of July holiday is a busy time in Park City. The best way to get to and see events is to walk, take the bus, or ride your bike as parking is limited throughout town.

Forum Fest at Canyons Village
Back to Top of ListThe Forum Fest at Canyons Village in Park City is returning for its fourth year! From Thursday, July 3 – Saturday, July 5, Canyons Village at Park City Mountain welcomes back its free multi-day festival for locals and visitors. Known as one of the best Independence Day celebrations in Park City, the three-day celebration will feature themed decorations and public art displays throughout the village, nightly fireworks, drone shows, headliner concerts, kids activities, and much more!
As a key strategy for improving transportation sustainability in Park City and a better guest experience for all, Canyons Village encourages Forum Fest guests to use public transit this year including the free bus system, bike valet, Summit bike share, carpool, and more.
Forum Fest highlights include:
- Nightly headliner concerts at the Forum Stage in Canyons Village featuring talent such as Super Diamond, March Fourth Marching Band, Los Angeles-based DJ Nate, and Laine Hardy,of American Idol fame followed by three days of live music performances
- Can’t-miss firework displays and drone shows each night to light up the star-studded Park City sky
- Family-friendly activities like cornhole tournaments, axe throwing, darts, air archery as well as entertaining performers including jugglers. There will also be a dedicated kid zone featuring face painting, balloon twisting, along with an onsite puppy adoption initiative through local non-profit Nuzzles and Co.

In collaboration with Mountain Town Music, take in live tunes while diving into delicious offerings from Deer Valley’s renowned culinary team. Every Thursday from June 19 to August 28, from noon to 3 p.m., immerse yourself in the perfect blend of flavors and melodies.
The deck overlooks Pebble Beach, where you can watch guests paddleboarding with Park City SUP against a backdrop of picturesque mountain scenes. Bring family and friends for a fun-filled day in town or treat yourself to a solo escape, surrounded by the beauty of nature. Back to Top of ListThe Last Friday Gallery Stroll in remains one of a handful of free activities in Park City—welcoming locals and visitors alike and featuring a range of artists and artwork with just as vast an influence. Hosted by the Park City Gallery Association, you'll wind through 19 different galleries on the last Friday of every month from 6:00 pm-9:00 pm, some waving the signature white flag denoting their participation in the event, many of whom take the opportunity to feature artists and provide hors d'oeuvres, often with the artist themselves on hand. Park City’s art scene continues to thrive, offering a robust variety of unique art collections from local, national, and international artists.

Park City has an incredible network of 400+ miles of trails that wind through town and connect our neighboring communities. And with an abundance of wild flowers, running streams, alpine views, and magnificent green foliage—the early summer aesthetic in Park City is not something you want to miss.

The museum is a nonprofit organization dedicated to Preserving, Protecting, and Promoting Park City's rich history and culturally significant sites. The museum has had a 40-year history as one of Utah's most popular and successful cultural anchors, resulting in numerous awards, accolades, and regular inclusion in National and International travel guides as a Top Ten Park City attraction.
