Things to Do in May in Park City

Park City had an earlier-than-usual spring melt, and more trails than ever are already dry. So, grab some hiking boots, snacks, and water, or tune up your bike and head into town. Most of the low elevation singletrack in areas like Round Valley, Historic Old Town, Bob's Basin, and Glenwild are absolutely pristine. If you're looking for a mellower adventure, Park City is home to tens of miles of paved and gravel paths crawling through town and wide open spaces. And a myriad of creeks and lakes crossing town and in the Uinta mountains offer prime opportunities for angling near Park City. The Park City Farmer's Market kicks off in May, providing local produce and artisan goods from around Park City and Utah. Located in the lower parking lot at Mountain Village, the Farmer's Market is a great opportunity to grab lunch before heading up the hike-only Dawn's trail for a picnic. Opening dates are TBD.
