For the next installment of our Park City First Timers series, we invited Jed, Ollie and Erik to try Utah Olympic Park’s newest thrill: Extreme Tubing. Photo credit: Utah Olympic Park/ Gene Sweeney, Jr.

Unique to Park City, Extreme Tubing allows participants to explore the 2002 Olympic Winter Games’ Nordic ski jumps firsthand.  Hop into a state-of-the-art plastic bottom tube and cruise down the landing hill of the Nordic ski jumps reaching speeds of up to 50 mph.  Olympic-level athletes still use these jumps for training!

Share Jed, Ollie, and Erik’s excitement, as they try out Extreme Tubing for the first time – you’ll be amazed by how much fun they had! All three tried the K64, and Ollie gave the K90 a try.

K40 – 5+ years old
K64 – 10+ years old
K90 – 13+ years old

*Participants are required to try the K64 jump before progressing to the K90. To learn more about this wild thrill, visit Utah Olympic Park’s website.

In a few days, we’ll be releasing a guide highlighting all of the new, kid-friendly activities around town.  And of course, stay tuned for the next Park City First Timers video!
