During the finale of the Park City First Timers summer series, Ryan takes to the sky with Park City Balloon Adventures for a hot air balloon adventure to remember.

Park City's oldest, family-owned hot air balloon company, Park City Balloon Adventures offers year-round balloon flights in Park City and Summit County areas. The unique experience, laden with fun hot air ballooning tradition, offers guests a bird’s eye view of the area’s natural beauty.

After learning the dos and don’ts, the importance of safety, and watching the balloon fill up, Ryan climbs into the basket for a one-hour, sunrise flight. From there, pilot Wild Bill navigates Park City’s friendly skies, as he shares a bit of balloon history and a few anecdotes. Ryan and fellow balloon passengers are treated to stunning views of the Wasatch Mountain Range, Jordanelle Reservoir, the Round Valley Trail System, and Park City’s Historic District – all from an altitude of 10,500 feet – higher than most of Utah’s mountain peaks!

Once the balloon returns to the ground, Ryan is awarded his flight certificate of ascension, making him an official “Balloonatic,” and a celebratory champagne toast — the perfect way to cap off his summer adventures.

Balloon flights are available year-round, and, every year, Park City celebrates the arrival of fall with the Autumn Aloft Balloon Festival.
