Why Host Meetings & Conferences in Park City

Park City, Utah, offers four seasons of meeting possibilities, just 35 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport.

Whether your group comprises 10 or 500 attendees, connection comes naturally, ideas flow freely, and sustainability is built into the experience here. Powered by 100% renewable energy for city and county operations (Elektron Solar Project), Park City allows groups to come together the Mountainkind way, embracing a way of life that celebrates one another while protecting the place we call home.

Uncover the six reasons to host business events here.

Location

Convenient Location That Feels Worlds Away

Park City offers the rare access you don’t often find in mountain resort destinations. It's just a scenic 35-minute drive between our picturesque town and Salt Lake City International Airport, which offers over 320 departing flights daily to more than 100 nonstop destinations, including 15 international.

The direct airlift options and short, seamless transfer to our 25 meeting hotels mean fewer logistics and less environmental impact—while still making attendees feel tucked away.

Electric Bus

Sustainable Transportation

The first mountain town to feature electric buses, Park City makes it simple to get around sustainably. Our free citywide bus system, fueled with 30% solar electricity and 70% biodiesel, connects meeting hotels and attractions throughout town.

Just as important, Park City’s transit experience is designed for ease and peace of mind. Routes are straightforward and serve areas where groups stay, meet, and gather. Frequent service and a widely used, community-run system create a reliable way to travel together, supporting duty-of-care priorities and making it easier for planners to guide guest flow with confidence.

Park City Transit operates nearly a dozen routes, including the free Historic Main Street Trolley, which makes convenient stops along the charming downtown thoroughfare filled with shops, restaurants, and galleries. View bus routes and download the Transit app for effortless navigation.

The low-fee Summit Bike Share program offers more than 200 pedal-assist e-bikes, perfect for getting around on over 40 miles of paved, multi-use pathways that showcase Park City’s natural beauty. Attendees can dock or pick up a bike at stations throughout town.

Hiking

Activities for All Attendees

Our town offers opportunities in every season for your meeting attendees, from elevated wellness to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) opportunities to meaningful team-building experiences. All are backdropped by the breathtaking natural beauty of our surrounding landscape and over 10,000 acres of protected open space.

As a Winter Olympic Games host and home to two world-class mountain resorts, Deer Valley and Park City Mountain, our town is known for exceptional winter activities, like skiing and snowboarding. Yet our destination also has even more seasonal and year-round outdoor offerings, like fly fishing, a favorite, or a historic wine tasting tour.

Spring meetings invite reflection and rejuvenation, with space to breathe. It’s an alpine experience that stands out from usual tourist seasons and adds the benefit of the lowest lodging rates. The town is welcoming with warmth and possibility for attendees, such as time for spa treatments and tastings at local breweries and distilleries.

Summer is one of Park City’s best-kept secrets, according to the locals. Trade conference rooms for outdoor patios and shuttle transportation for gondolas, and let attendees enjoy hiking and biking on 400 miles of trails, horseback riding, and golfing.

When fall arrives in Park City, and the aspens turn golden, meetings take on a new kind of energy, with opportunities for outdoor exploration during downtime and shopping along Main Street, once the base camp for our silver mining town.

The shoulder seasons mean more affordable rates, reduced environmental effect, and opportunities to give back to the local community.

Winter Olympic Games Legacy & Future

Few destinations carry a legacy as inspiring as Park City’s. As a proud host of the 2002 Winter Olympic Games—and future host in 2034—our alpine town embodies the spirit of excellence and inclusion.

There’s no better place to extend that inspiration to your group than at Utah Olympic Park. Here, you can feel the motivation of future Olympians-in-training and the momentum of our destination’s progress for future Games.

This unique off-site venue creates storied experiences for attendees of all ages and abilities, including team-building ropes courses, bobsled rides, and a museum, as well as dynamic event spaces.

Outdoor Summer Dining Overlooking Historic Main Street

Diverse Culinary Landscape

Park City’s established culinary scene features must-try restaurants on Main Street, libations with alpine distinction, and warm atmospheres.

One of our destination’s most distinguished establishments is Riverhorse on Main, Utah's only restaurant to receive both the DiRoNA Award and Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star Rating (16 years running), as well as the AAA Four-Diamond Award. For a newer restaurant with flexible, private dining space, try Hearth & Hill, one of Salt Lake magazine’s 2025 Best Restaurants in Utah.

With more than 130 area restaurants and bars, including over 20 group dining options, there’s something to satisfy every palate and occasion.

Vibrant Local Music & Arts Scene

Art, film, and music pulse year-round through Park City. Whether it’s a show at the historic Egyptian Theatre, an outdoor concert on the slopes in summer, or a gallery viewing on Main Street, creativity is woven into our community’s identity.

Through the Arts Council Park City & Summit County, planners can connect with local artists, musicians, and performers to creatively add local energy to any program. This council supports the community and reduces environmental impact by allowing planners to utilize local artisans for gifting, art activations or other creative ways to enhance your meetings.
