July - 4th of July Parade and Celebration

Come up to Park City this weekend.  Take in a concert, catch the rodeo, and enjoy the 4th on Park City's Historic Main Street for our annual 4th of July Parade and a full day of activities, including a 5k run, pancake breakfast, parade, live music, rugby games, beer gardens and vendors followed by fireworks at dusk.

Rodeo begins at 8pm Nightly
The 4th of July wouldn't be complete without a vist to our local rodeo, with cowboys, clowns and bucking bronco's and bulls.  Yee Haw! 


FRIDAY, JULY 1, 2011
KPCWKPCW / ColeSport Summer Bash!
Town Lift Plaza
5:00pm - 10:00PM
Kick-off the 4th of July weekend and join KPCW's 31st Birthday at the ColeSport / KPCW Summer Bash, Friday July 1, at the Town Lift Plaza on Park City's lower Main Street. The Summer Bash is free and fun for the entire family. Kids' activities, food and drink will begin at 5:00 PM with music by the folk and country band, LASH LARUE. Great food will be available from Butcher's Chop House, The Bridge Café, Davanza's Pizza, and Kumbayah Kitchens. At 7:30 PM the funk and blues band SIN CITY SOUL will make your feet move and your heart sing. Enjoy a free photo session in the ShutterBooth, great libations from High West Distillery, Budweiser and a wine pavilion provided by the Park City Food and Wine Classic. Your food and drink purchases will help support KPCW 91.9 FM, the community radio station of The Wasatch Back.

CanyonsCanyons Resort - Are you ready to start your Independence Day one day early? If so, then head over to Canyons for our annual bash! We've got live music by The Soulistics, followed by a huge fireworks display. The concert will start at 7:30pm in the Resort Village with the fireworks at 9:30pm. The July 3rd Celebration is FREE and open to the public.

Thriving Ivory with The Alternate Routes and A Silent Film
Deer Valley Resort - Snow Park Amphitheater - 7pm
Kicking off Independence Day weekend with a trio of decidedly independent artists, PCPAF presents the soaring, distinctive melodic rock of Thriving Ivory on Sunday, July 3. Known for their hit single, "Angels on the Moon," this San Francisco-based quartet lists U2 and Coldplay among their inspirations for what the Nashville City Paper calls "the indelible sound of timeless rock for modern day music lovers." Opening for Thriving Ivory will be guitar rock/singer/songwriters, The Alternate Routes, and Oxford, England, piano-rock exports A Silent Film.
