Reef Private Equity is a real estate investment, development, and management firm that is a subsidiary of Reef Capital Partners. We deliver solutions to unlock potential value in real estate assets through creative capital structuring and strategic repositioning. Our investments are designed to grow our partners’ capital within dynamic real estate markets. 

Our team is well versed in acquisitions, finance, planning, design, entitlement, construction management, asset management, marketing and sales. We're not limited by market locations or property types; our projects are located all over the nation from Hawaii to the U.S. Virgin Islands and our projects include land development, ground up construction, major rehabilitations, and everything in between.

REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT

Real Estate Development is a complex process encompassing activities ranging from renovating and re-leasing existing buildings to purchasing raw land, entitlement, and physical improvement. Maximizing investor returns doesn’t have to conflict with a community’s values. Stewardship in each community is at the forefront of our work as we strive to attain positive economic benefits for our investors and the communities where we do business. 

ASSET MANGEMENT

Property faces the risk of damage, tends to deteriorate over time, and often takes a more complex process to buy and sell than other assets. 


Real estate asset management concerns itself with mitigating risks and promoting valuable improvements. Our asset managers are charged with maximizing property value and investment returns. This means reducing expenditures when possible, finding the most consistent and highest sources of revenue, and mitigating liability and risk, among other things.

PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

Regardless of the property type, we approach each from an owner's perspective: recognizing the inherent risks they may encounter, the importance of adaptability, and the impact management has on the value and reputation of the asset.

SPECIAL SERVICING

There are times when projects don’t go as planned, and lenders may resort to taking ownership and/or controlling assets to right the wrongs of a borrower. 


We have built a successful track record identifying and/or implementing exit strategies that include repositioning and liquidating assets on behalf of lenders.

SALES & MARKETING

Reef Private Equity can help manage the liquidation of entire projects or completed inventory. Leveraging a wide network of real estate professionals, we help our partners manage the delicate balance between risk and reward to tailor a dedicated sales or liquidation strategy to match each project's unique characteristics, inherent risks, and potential upside. Our experienced staff will help to gather information, solicit sales contractors and agents, analyze data, provide performance projections, and review and evaluate progress. Our firm can also provide inroads to suitable capital sources for particular property types and make introductions to key industry participants to grease a project's wheels of success.
