Overview
This is a lesser-traveled 4 mile, out and back hiking trail that crosses both Deer Valley Resort and Park City Mountain. The trail is a steady climb up old mining roads and cat tracks, to a final steep push to Jupiter Peak itself. What to Expect – From the parking area head across the road to the Empire Pass Connector, which runs parallel along the road for a short while, you will then take an immediate right up the dirt road. From here follow the road to the height of land where you have views overlooking Deer Valley. At the Daly Bowl and Daly Chutes sign you’ll take a left to head up the ridge on the dirt road. You’ll traverse along the ridgeline and connect onto 10 (Upper) trail. Once above tree line you will pass by the Deer Valley Empire lift and then the McConkey’s lift, after that follow the top of Jupiter Peak Bowl for a little and then continue straight up (it get’s steep) the Jupiter Ridge trail to the summit.
