Diagnosed with a mental illness halfway through his senior year of high school, a witty, introspective teen struggles to keep it a secret while falling in love with a brilliant classmate who inspires him to open his heart and not be defined by his condition.
Based on the book Words on Bathroom Walls by Julia Walton. A panel discussion will follow the film with Dr. Xavier Amador, founder of the LEAP Institute, world champion skier and CONNECT Summit County mental health ambassador Alex Schlopy, and two-time Olympian Holly Flanders for a discussion on the film’s portrayal of mental health and the reality of a mental health diagnosis at a young age.
Admission to the film is free, but registration is required in advance (and can be accessed here) due to capacity restrictions. Masks will be required for all patrons without exception in compliance with Park City Film's Cinema Safe guidelines.
Presented in partnership with CONNECT Summit County as part of Mental Health Awareness Month.
