The season for sun-ripened berries, currants, tomatoes, and stone fruit (peaches, nectarines, plums, apricots) is so short. Enjoy them fresh, but preserve some for winter. Learn to make simple freezer jam and shelf-stable jams. Create your own unique flavors with fresh herbs and spices. Jams can be sweet or savory. Enjoy them all year on morning toast, to flavor yogurt, make hand pies, and sauces. Take home a jar of jam and recipes.
