August in Park City is the time when local produce is at its peak! This will be a beautiful, flavorful dinner that makes the most of local produce that in our high mountain community is only available for a brief time towards the end of summer and early fall. In class, you will create a collection of dishes using the fresh tomatoes, peppers, corn, beans, eggplant, squashes, stone fruits, berries and herbs from local farms, markets and gardens. Come and have a wonderful time preparing these fresh and colorful dishes!
Menu: Roasted Peppers with ‘Nduja and Melted Cheese in Tiny Cast Iron Skillets; Grilled Eggplant and Tomato Salad with Torn Croutons; Farm Stand Pizza; Tomatoes and Grilled Shrimp with Basil and Feta; Grilled Stone Fruit with Blueberries, Yogurt, Honey & Toasted Nuts.
Menu is easily modified for vegetarians.
