Though Park City, Utah, is known for its luxurious accommodations and world-class skiing, deals abound here in the quieter summer season. And for many who’ve relocated to this mountain town, Park City summers are the area’s best-kept secret. Cooler mountain temperatures make it a wonderful place to explore when the Salt Lake Valley temperatures soar, and there are plenty of free and inexpensive activities throughout town for visitors on a budget. Add these nine adventures to your Park City bucket list, and don’t worry about price, most won’t cost you a dime.

The kids may be back at school, but there isn’t a better time to get them hooked on fly fishing than during the Fall -- when Park City’s blue-ribbon waters are framed by hues of oranges, yellows, reds and golds in one of the most magnificent displays of fall foliage anywhere in the Western United States.

As it always does, summer is flying by and it’s almost time to start thinking about sending the kids back to school (yikes)! But learning doesn’t have to be just for the kids.  This is a perfect time try something new and Park City, Utah is a perfect destination to explore new horizons and ideas, learn, and, who knows, maybe even find a  new hobby. Make your next trip to Park City a vacation of learning.
