December – it’s a time to celebrate the holidays with family and friends, and it also marks the beginning of the ski season. Park City Mountain is currently open, Deer Valley Resort opens on December 7th, and Woodward Park City is scheduled to open on December 14th! While it’s always fun to hit the slopes, there are many other ways to enjoy the month of December in Park City. Here are a few ideas for you to explore while trying to decide what to do in Park City this December.

One such offering worth calling attention to is The Viking Yurt located atop the sweeping trails of Park City Mountain.

Even when there’s no snow, there’s still plenty for the whole family to do this summer at Park City Mountain. Yes, Park City Mountain is a great year-round resort with lots of unique and fun activities for the entire family. And in the heat of the summer, is there anything better than escaping to the mountains for some fresh air and fun?  

We recently took our kids up to explore what there was to do, and even though they range in age from 2 to 12, it wasn’t hard to find something that everyone loved there. 

Get Silly This Summer With Park Sillians

The Park Silly Sunday Market, a summer favorite for Park City locals (aka Park Sillians) and visitors alike, celebrates its 13th anniversary this summer. Held on Park City’s Historic Main Street, the Park Silly Sunday Market opened the season on June 2nd at 10:00 AM and continues every Sunday through September 22nd (excluding August 4th, 11th, 18th).  Admission is free.
