Park City First Timers is back for summer, with a new host, and six new episodes.

In our first summer episode, our host, Ryan, and a few of his friends join Destination Sports and Adventures to raft the Weber River. They meet their guide, Trixie, in Henefer – just outside of Park City.  

The Park Silly Sunday Market, a summer favorite for Park City locals (aka Park Sillians) and visitors alike, celebrates its 11th anniversary this summer. Held on Park City’s Historic Main Street, the Park Silly Sunday Market opens for the season on June 4 at 10:00 AM and continues every Sunday through September 17.  Admission is free. 

There is no denying it; we had an amazing winter in Park City! With over 310 inches of snow this season, it is sure to stick around for a while – especially at higher elevations – making some of the area’s trails less accessible until later into the spring/early summer.  That being said, there are plenty of low elevation trail options to explore. Hitting the trails is a fun (and active) to get outside as spring transitions into summer. Here is a list of springtime trails/trail systems to explore this spring:

Park City is a town packed with everything from mountain adventure activities, to vibrant nightlife and award-winning dining.  It is challenging to fit everything Park City has to offer into one weekend, but luckily we are here to help.  We picked a few of our favorite ideas to help you plan your own perfect 72 hours in our quaint mountain town.

Park City, Utah is known for its sunny days and bright blue skies, so the occasional rain showers are somewhat unexpected and can come as a surprise.  Due to the area’s reputation for having endless outdoor opportunities and activities to enjoy, it’s not always easy to come up with indoor options for when the weather turns sour. Luckily, there are plenty of ways to enjoy a rainy day in Park City.
