For some, a cup of coffee or a latte is the only way to get the day started. For others, it’s a midday treat – a way to warm up (or cool down) after a few hours spent on the slopes or the trails. Regardless, it’s always a good idea to know where your nearest (and tastiest) coffee option lies whether you’re on the mountain, shopping along Historic Main Street, or cruising around town! Here is a round-up of a few don’t-miss coffee shops and cafés in the Park City area:

Tucked between two world-class ski resorts, the mountain town of Park City is best known for its winter recreation and as the home of the Sundance Film Festival. But over time the community has transformed into a year-round recreation destination with an outstanding dining scene to match. The fun, foodie revolution spreads from Historic Main Street all the way to Kimball Junction (Nuevo Park City), and whether you’re craving a gourmet breakfast, a quick lunch, or a five-course feast, this foodie guide covers all your Park City dining needs.

One of the most unique aspects of Park City is the vicinity of its historic downtown to both Park City Mountain and Deer Valley Resort. That, capped off with the area’s growing culinary scene, makes for a truly special ski experience. With Park City Mountain’s Quit’N Time run leading skiers and snowboarders directly to Historic Main Street, the midday meal options are plentiful. We compiled a list of restaurants on Historic Main Street where you can grab lunch just off the slopes before hopping back on Town Lift to continue your ski day:

We wouldn’t ordinarily be so excited about a new grocery story, but, in the new Whole Foods Market, there is a lot to love. The new store, located at 6598 N. Landmark drive, opened its doors to the public on October 18.  Formerly across the street in the Redstone area of Park City, the new Whole Foods features more square footage, and is filled with all our favorite local products, as well as an abundance of exciting new features.

Park City’s food scene continues to evolve and grow, adding a different spice to a town once known for being a mecca specifically for outdoor enthusiasts.  With its variety of flavors, Park City’s restaurants truly have something for everyone – regardless of taste.  In addition to a long list of new eateries, some of the Park City favorites have redone their spaces and menus as well.

Some say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and we believe them! Where will you find the energy for a fun day on the slopes, shopping, or for Nordic skiing on Park City’s trails, without a delicious and nutritious breakfast?

Finding a solid breakfast or brunch spot can be challenging – especially if you’re visiting an area for the first time.  Breakfast and brunch choices are often a matter of preference, depending on what kind of morning meal you prefer and what kind of time you have. Are you a hardcore bruncher who spends hours enjoying a meal every Sunday morning? Or are you the grab-and-go type? Whether you prefer to grab a cup of coffee and a quick bite on the run, or prefer full-on sit-down brunch, Park City, Utah has breakfast and  brunch options to suit every taste bud.
