Kimball Arts Festival
The Kimball Arts Festival is one of the top-ranked arts festivals in the country. It showcases the works of jury-selected world-class artists and brings in people from all over the country to shop and collect their favorite pieces. As one of Park City's signature events, The Kimball Arts Festival is something you don't want to miss. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased here.
Summit County Fair
The Summit County Fair is always a blast! A traditional small town county fair is held on the first week of August with a packed schedule that will have the whole family entertained and smiling. You'll enjoy live music, a rodeo, demolition derby, and much more!
Support Park City's Quality Book Stores on Book Lovers Day
August 9th is Book Lovers Day, and there is no better way to start the celebration than to settle in with a new book over a cup of coffee or tea at Atticus Books, Coffee and Teahouse on Main Street in Park City. From there, you'll want to walk 5 minutes up Main Street to Dolly's Bookstore. Dolly's has been around since 1972 and carries a wide variety of books and gifts of local and international fame!
Art on the Trails
Art on the Trails is an immersive experience that features local and regional performing and visual artists on the McLeod Creek Trail. You will immerse yourself in nature while viewing the artists at work, making a unique and exciting experience. You won't want to miss this event, so head to the Park City Arts Council website to learn more!
Tube the Weber River
Cool off and enjoy the unique scenery while tubing down the Weber River with Barefoot Tubing. No experience is required; just remember to bring sunscreen, clothes, shoes that can get wet, and something to protect your phone or camera from getting wet. The trip will last about two hours, and a shuttle will take you back to where you parked.
Get in a Game of Golf
Get some rounds in a while, enjoying the gorgeous view around you. The Wasatch back is home to some of the most amazing and challenging golf courses around. Some public, some private, each holding the potential to add yards to your stroke, courtesy of mother nature. Head to our website to find all the courses and what suited you best!
