Park City provides the perfect place for healthy adventures with friends, family members, or even on your own. With a plethora of healthy adventures nearly everywhere — such as outdoor yoga classes, miles of hiking trails, and walking paths that connect the entire town — you’ll feel rejuvenated and relaxed (not worn down) after your vacation.

Where to Stay:

The luxurious Montage Deer Valley welcomes guests into an upscale mountain escape, complete with the serene Spa Montage, a 35,000 square-foot holistic spa with soothing treatment rooms, an indoor pool, and a spacious fitness center. The Montage also includes several restaurant options ranging from steak to sushi, and a mouthwatering breakfast buffet where you can fuel up for the day.

Plan Your Day:

Begin your day with an outdoor yoga class with a breathtaking vista overlooking the majestic Wasatch mountains. Every Friday during the summer, the resort hosts yoga classes on the Mountain Lawn, but you can also inquire about booking a private class with your group.

For brunch, take the complimentary hotel car to Five5eeds, a bustling, vibrant café serving delicious coffee and hearty yet healthy cuisine. Go for the acai bowl or smashed avocado toast to keep things light, or opt for the chook and waffles (the Australian version of chicken and waffles) if you really worked up an appetite.

After you refuel, head to the mountains for a moderately challenging hike along the trails of Deer Valley. Make sure you stay well-hydrated (and watch out for moose!), but the effort you put in will be well-rewarded when you see the views from the top. Take a chair lift down to save your knees, or head back down the way you came up.

Now, it’s time to relax! Back at the Montage, order some poolside snacks and smoothies, and take in the beauty of the surrounding mountains while you bask in the alpine sun.

For dinner, venture out to Kimball Junction, an area of town that’s easy to explore on foot. Hearth and Hill is a new restaurant that’s become beloved by visitors and locals alike. They’re known for their fresh, locally inspired take on contemporary American cuisine, and they also have an intriguing menu of expertly crafted cocktails. Enjoy your evening — but don’t forget to get some sleep to prepare for another action-packed day in Park City.

*Note: We know this day is jam-packed! While it may not be totally realistic to fit all of these activities into 24 hours, we simply wanted to give a sampling of what our mountain town has to offer. Pack it all in, or spread it out — we want you to make your visit your own!
