It has snowed at higher elevations and there is certainly a chill in the air indicating that winter is fast approaching.  That being said, autumn in Park City has been absolutely beautiful and we continue to enjoy the crisp air, warm sun, and colorful foliage.  This week in Park City features a long list of fall and Halloween inspired activities - spooky, creative, and even a little something to get us excited for ski season.

Sleepy Hollow Haunted Wagon Rides
October 19-30, between 6:00-10:00 PM (reservations required)
Where: Soldier Hollow, 2002 Soldier Hollow Dr., Midway, UT
Looking for an alternative to spooky haunted houses or scary Halloween movies? Head to Sleepy Hollow in Midway, Utah for a Halloween wagon ride - a traditional horse drawn wagon with a twist!  The wagon ride takes participants through the foothills of Soldier Hollow and into dark canyons and cottonwoods forests, which are supposedly haunted.  Rumor has it that the Headless Horseman has been seen from time to time. Spooky! Enjoy a narration of the Legend of Sleepy Hollow as you ride a 15-person wagon.  While this Halloween ride is intended to be eerie, it is family appropriate.  For more information and tickets, visit the Sleepy Hollow website.

For those who prefer something more mellow, try a Pumpkin Patch Wagon Ride instead.  Also located in Solider Hollow, the Pumpkin Patch Wagon ride meanders through beautiful Heber Valley and offers panoramic views of the area.  Enjoy Halloween treats on the ride before picking out the perfect pumpkin to take home. Pumpkin Patch rides are offered through October 26 on Saturdays 1:00-5:00 PM & Mondays 3:00-7:00 PM.
