Snow is falling, and town is bustling - there is so much to be excited about this week in Park City.  Plus, we'll be skiing in no time when Park City Mountain opens on November 21 (just fifteen days from now!) and Deer Valley Resort opens on December 5.  In the meantime, start doing your lunges, head to the Park City Ski Swap to pick up some ski gear, laugh at a stand-up comedy show, or donate to your favorite local non-profit.

Everyone needs a good laugh from time to time.  This weekend Park City's Egyptian Theatre presents stand-up comedians Dennis Regan and Bryan Cork.  Both comedians, who have appeared at comedy festivals and on television, are sure to provide a night of entertainment.  Beer is sold at the theatre to those who are 21+.  Cork suggests "you buckle up for his shows, as it might get a little weird!" Tickets are still available.

Park City Ski Swap
November 6-8 (details below)
Where: Basin Recreation Fieldhouse
Looking for new or gently used equipment for the upcoming ski season? Head to the Basin Recreation Fieldhouse this weekend for the Park City Ski Swap, which supports the Park City Ski Team.  The Park City Ski Swap is "one of the largest, oldest ski swaps in the U.S. with the best selection of skis, snowboards, boots, poles, clothing, and accessories..."  The sale runs Friday night from 8:00 PM-1:00 AM, Saturday from 10:00 AM-6:00 PM, and Sunday 10:00 AM-2:00 PM.  An entrance fee applies, starting at $10 for Friday, $5 for Saturday, and $2 on Sunday.  The swap has a few tips for shoppers, some of which include:
   1. Do your research beforehand, so you have an idea about what you're looking for.
   2. The swap accepts cash and major credit cards - no checks, please!
   3. "Roving assistants" will be at the swap to answer your equipment questions.
For a complete list of tips and further information, visit the swap's website.
