Canyons Resort Opening Day
When: Thursday, June 18
Where: Canyons Resort
There is a lot happening at Canyons Resort this summer, and you don't want to miss out on the action! The resort, which opened for summer operations on Thursday, June 18, offers a wide array of activities including hiking, biking, zipline, and outdoor concerts. Canyons' 18-hole championship golf course opened recently, as well.
Deer Valley Opening Day
When: Friday, June 19
Where: Deer Valley Resort
Park City's summer resort roster is now at full strength as Deer Valley Resort opened its chairs for summer operations today! Head up to the resort bright and early this weekend to enjoy lift-served mountain biking, hiking, or just relax on a scenic chairlift ride through the beautiful Wasatch Mountains. Don't forget to stop by Royal Street Café after you've worked up an appetite and treat yourself to the famous Dungeness Crab Tower and St. Germain Elderflower Cocktail. Not a morning person? No problem! Sleep in and stop by in the evening for one of the many outdoor concerts held throughout the summer.
Savor the Summit
When: Saturday, June 20 at 6:00 PM
Where: Historic Main Street
Park City's largest outdoor dinner party returns to Historic Main Street on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 6:00 PM. Savor the Summit offers guests a unique celebration of fabulous food, drink, and live music while they dine at a table that runs down the entirety of Historic Main Street. This is a wonderful opportunity to experience some of Park City's best restaurants while dining outside with a few hundred of your best friends!
While you do not need a ticket, you will need to make a reservation directly with one of the participating restaurants. Menu pricing ranges and some restaurants offer wine and other beverage pairings. There are still a few openings!
Park City SUP Festival
When: Saturday and Sunday, June 20 and 21
Where: Jordanelle Reservoir
Bring your sunscreen and celebrate the Summer Solstice with the Park City SUP Festival! This year the first official day of summer will be stuffed full of fun summer activities (as it should be!), including free group SUP Yoga each morning (BYOB), surfing, sailing, SUP fly-casting and fishing demos, racing and more.
The fun doesn't end when the sun sets though... once it is dark enough, the event will host a "night paddle" in the bay of Jordanelle Reservoir. PC SUP will have ten Paddles adorned with torches that will help light the way through the dark. They will tour the bay as many times as needed to make sure everyone gets a turn.
Be sure to check out our calendar for a full list of this week's Park City events.
