Park City Kimball Arts Festival
When: Friday, July 31 - Sunday, August 2
Where: Historic Main Street
Tickets: Weekend Passes are $10 for Adults, $5 for Children 6-17, and Children 5 and under are FREE. LOCALS NIGHT - Summit County Residents FREE - A Valid Utah Driver's License/ID or Utility Bill indicating a Summit County residence is Required at one of the five dedicated entry gates for locals. Each Adult providing the required proof of residence will receive one FREE LOCALS wristband for them and each of their children to attend our largest fundraiser of the year.
This is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Kimball and helps keep the exhibitions and education programs free to the public. Ranked in the top twenty festivals in the country by Smithsonian Magazine, this lively 3-day event attracts over 58,000 people to experience over 200 artists from 30 states and Canada, 30 live bands on 3 stages, and cuisine from Park City's fabulous restaurants. This year the top of Main St will be turned into a work of art during the chalk art competition on Saturday morning.
Flying Ace All-Star Aerial Show
When: Saturday, August 1 at 11:00 AM and Sunday, August 2 at 1:00 PM
Where: Utah Olympic Park
Tickets: $12 for Adults and $7 for Seniors & Kids
Catch the high-flying action every summer weekend at the Flying Ace All-Stars Freestyle Show. See Olympians and National Team skiers and snowboarders perform acrobatic feats as they soar up to 60 feet in the air before landing in the Park's NEW Big Air Pool. A great show for the whole family, this half-hour choreographed production will leave you breathless!
Summer Concert Series - 10,000 Maniacs
When: Saturday, August 1 Venue opens at 4:00 PM and music at 6:00 PM
Where: Park City Mountain Resort - Canyons Village
This (free) summer long Saturday concert series features 10,000 Maniacs, one of the most critically acclaimed bands of the last three decades. Blankets, picnics and chairs less than 9" high are welcome. The Cabriolet will be open until 9:30 PM so you may want to take public transportation or ride your bicycle to the show.
Big Stars, Bright Nights - Grace Potter and The Nocturnals
When: Tuesday, August 4 gates open at 5:30 PM. Show starts at 7:00 PM
Where: Deer Valley Resort's Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater
Tickets: $40 lawn seating and $55-75 reserved seating
The singer-organist front woman - who Rolling Stone likened to Bonnie Raitt and Janis Joplin and USA Today calls "the best female rock singer in the country right now" - dominates the stage with pitch-perfect, electrifying vocals. While their albums shimmer with tight harmonies and wickedly good song craft, live performance is this band's hallmark.
Stein Eriksen's Hops on the Hill
When: Tuesday, August 4 starting at 5:00 PM
Where: Stein Eriksen Lodge Deer Valley
Tickets: $40 in advance and $45 at the door
The craft beer tasting event takes place on the panoramic deck of Stein Eriksen's Main Lodge overlooking Deer Valley Resort. The craft beer and food tasting, prior to live music, costs $40 in advance, and $45 at the door. A variety of grilled treats ranging from $5-15 may be purchased during the free concert, as well as beverages at a cash bar. A portion of the event proceeds are donated to Park City's Youth Sports Alliance.
