It's hard not to notice that the leaves are beginning to change color in Park City.  Where did the time go? The change in seasons often represents a change in lifestyle and in schedule as well.  School is back in session, the sun starts setting a little earlier, and it is time to break out the sweaters. One thing that doesn't change - the abundance of fantastic events and activities going on in Park City! Check out what's happening this week:

Last Friday Gallery Stroll

Enjoy unique monthly showcases highlighting artists, special exhibits, and art events at the "Last Friday Gallery Stroll" on August 28.  This free community event, run my members of the Park City Gallery Association, provides both locals and visitors with the opportunity to enjoy Park City's evolving art scene while enjoying light refreshments.  The "Last Friday Gallery Stroll" occurs on the last Friday of every month, from 6:00-9:00 PM, through November.  For participating galleries, please take a look at the Park City Gallery Association's map.

Miss Kitty's Barking Ball 2015

Join your friends at Montage Deer Valley for the 2015 Miss Kitty's Barking Ball, a celebration of serving the pets and people of the greater Park City community.  Not only is the organization celebrating their 25th anniversary, but they are also celebrating the transformation from Friends of Animals Utah to the newly introduced Nuzzles & Co. Enjoy great food, an auction, laughter, and a few surprises among friends as you celebrate the year's achievements and community support.  As of today, Nuzzles & Co. (formerly Friends of Animals Utah), has helped rescue 14,000 cats and dogs, and unite them with loving families. 

2015 Park City Area Showcase of Homes

Presented by the Park City Area Home Builders Association in conjunction with Zion's Bank, the Park City Area Showcase of Homes offers a sneak peek at some of Park City's finest mountain homes.  The showcase, which will run for two weekends, features 18 homes throughout the greater Park City and Heber Valley regions.  This event is a great opportunity to meet the home builders, explore some of the area's variety of designs, and perhaps even walk away with a few ideas of your own.  Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online.

Newpark Movies: The Goonies

Hey you guys!! This week's "Newvies" series features The Goonies, a 1980's adventure comedy film. The free movie is to show outside in the Newpark Amphitheater, and will start around dusk.  Bring your blankets, treats, chairs, and the entire family for this fun public event.  There is nothing quite like enjoying a movie under the stars!
