Another acclaimed Park City summer event is just around the corner, and we couldn't be more excited.  Approaching its 50th anniversary, the Kimball Arts Festival returns this year with over 200 artists from across the United States for a weekend filled with art, cuisine, and music on Park City's Historic Main Street.

The Park City Kimball Art Center was established in 1976 when Bill Kimball set out to share his dreams with future generations.  His hopes were that, "the art center will enable [future generations] to fulfill themselves and enrich their lives beyond the necessity to make a living.  Park City's first phase was the opening of the mines; the second was the beginning of the resort.  Perhaps the third phase will be that the center can provide the opportunity for each person to expand his interest in the arts. I hope so."  The Park City Kimball Arts Festival began, and has continued to serve, as the main fundraiser for the center each year.   The festival allows the Kimball Art Center to offer free events, exhibitions, tours, art education, and "art talks" year round.
