There is certainly no shortage of live music in Park City this summer! In addition to big name performers like Grace Potter, Diana Krall, Smokey Robinson, and the John Butler Trio (to name JUST a few), there are endless free concerts to enjoy each week.  With more venues to choose from than there are days in a week, you'll be sure to find something in Park City that suits your music taste.

Deer Valley Music Festival - Summer Home of Utah Symphony/Utah Opera (USUO)
When: Throughout the summer, July 4-August 14
Where: Deer Valley Resort Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater
The Deer Valley Music Festival is the summer home of the Utah Symphony/Utah Opera.  The Festival offers classical, chamber, and pops music at the Deer Valley Resort Snow Park Amphitheater, as well as a few smaller concert venues throughout the community.  While there are delicious Deer Valley concessions available, you may bring your own picnic basket and beverages into the concert venue.

St. Regis Big Stars Bright Nights, a Park City Institute Program
When: Throughout the summer, June 30-September 6
Where: Deer Valley Resort Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater
It doesn't get much better than dancing and singing along with your favorite musicians while they perform in beautiful Park City. The 2015 Big Stars Bright Nights summer line-up includes acclaimed musicians like Aloe Blacc, Grace Potter, and Warren Haynes with Gov't Mule.  Seating ranges from assigned lawn chairs in rows closer to the stage, to lawn seating where guests can bring their own blankets or chairs. Picnics and beverages are allowed in the venue, so pack your favorite treats!

Egyptian Theatre
Throughout the summer
Where:  328 Main Street
Located on Historic Main Street, Egyptian Theatre is an iconic venue that hosts a variety of entertainment and community events, including concerts. Known for its affiliation with the Sundance Film Festival, the theatre maintains its rich Park City history, making it a unique venue for live music and other shows.

Park City (PC) Live
When: Throughout the summer
Where: 427 Main Street
Park City Live is located in the heart of Park City on Historic Main Street.  A fabulous addition to Park City's nightlife, Park City Live offers shows year-round with numerous bars within the venue, as well as private VIP mezzanine options.  PC Live will host John Butler Trio on June 20.

Canyons Resort Summer Series
When: July 3, then Saturdays from July 11- September 5
Where:  The hill above Canyons Resort's ski beach
A favorite for locals and visitors alike, this free concert series highlights recording acts from throughout the nation. The stage is located just up the hill from the Canyons Resort village and offers scenic views of the resort area.  Bring a chair, your friends, and your dancing shoes - summertime is the best time to groove! Photo credit: Canyons Resort 
Canyons Village Summer Concert

Newpark Amphitheater
When: Thursday evenings, June 18 - August 27
Where: Newpark Town Center (Kimball Junction)
The Newpark Amphitheater sits among numerous restaurants, shopping, and the beautiful Swaner Nature Preserve in the middle of Newpark Town Center.  The free venue is a great space for children to play and for family and friends to gather.  This year's lineup includes local favorite, Bonanza Town, along with a variety of musicians from around the U.S. Bring dinner, a chair, and your favorite brew, or enjoy one of the nearby restaurants after the show!

Grand Valley Bank Community Concert Series at Deer Valley Resort
When: Every Wednesday, June 17 - August 26
Where: The Snow Park area of Deer Valley Resort
At Deer Valley's Snow Park amphitheater, the sun sets just left of the stage, creating the perfect backdrop for these free weekly concerts. Enjoy both local and national music acts as you sit (or dance!) on the hill with your friends and family. Don't forget your picnic basket, a blanket, and your favorite beverage!

Woodenshoe Park in Peoa
Every Friday from June 5 - July 17
Where: Woodenshoe Park, Peoa, UT
Peoa, UT has a population of 540, making Woodenshoe Park a unique and incredibly special concert venue to the community. Every Friday night throughout the summer, Peoa residents and other Summit County residents gather together to BBQ, listen to live music, and enjoy the charming, quintessential small town environment.
