Park City Mountain Resort is slated to open for the 2016-17 winter season on Saturday, November 26 (date subject to change) and after historic changes were made in preparation for the 2015-16 season, we are left with a LOT to look forward to. Since combining Park City Mountain Resort and Canyons Resort, we now have access to 7,300 skiable acres, 300+ trails, 41 lifts, 8 terrain parks, and terrain for every level of skier or snowboarder to enjoy.
NEW THIS SEASON
EpicMix™ Time: EpicMix™ Time is to make its debut at Park City Mountain Resort this season. “An expansion of the award-winning ski and snowboard app,” it allows guests to access real-time wait times for ski lifts around the resort, providing skiers and snowboarders with the opportunity to navigate the mountain more efficiently to help log as much on-snow time as possible.
A lineup of signature special events will return to Park City Mountain Resort again this winter, allowing for the family fun to continue after a day on the slopes. This season’s don’t-miss events include:
Park City Mountain Resort’s Annual Snowfest Celebration: this 16-day festival, loaded with holiday festivities, includes morning and après-ski music, the annual torchlight parade, Santa’s appearance on Town Lift, and a variety of other village entertainers.
Spring Grüv Celebration: an annual event at Park City Mountain Resort, Spring Grüv is to return in March for 16 days of celebrating with free concerts galore and the ever-famous Pond Skimming Contest.
Of course, there is even more to look forward to in the 2016-17 winter season -- head to Park City Mountain Resort’s website for further details.
