Known for its groomed-to-perfection slopes and impeccable customer service, Deer Valley Resort is scheduled to open for the 2016-17 ski season on Saturday, December 3.  While there are already many reasons to love Deer Valley, there are a few noteworthy amenities new to the resort this season.

Ski with a Champion Program: Join Deer Valley Resort’s Ambassador of Skiing, Heidi Voelker, or one of five other Olympic athletes, for a fun day on the slopes this winter.  You can ski with an athlete in the company of your family, one-on-one, or with a small group for a unique and memorable experience.  Learn more about the program on Deer Valley Resort’s website.

A New Menu at The Brass Tag: The Brass Tag, located in the Lodges at Deer Valley, is to introduce a brand new menu this winter featuring delicious dishes including fresh seafood skillets, seasonal flatbread, roasted fresh fish, and other brick oven specialties.  The Brass Tag is open nightly from 4:00-9:00 PM and serves a full dinner menu starting at 5:30 PM.

You can expect to see the favorite Deer Valley Resort events back on the calendar for the 2016-17 winter season.  Events to look forward to include:

Deer Valley Celebrity Skifest: December 3-4, on opening weekend, the Celebrity Skifest returns to Deer Valley Resort for its 25th year.  Watch as Olympic ski legends hit the slopes to compete against your favorite television and film stars.

Torchlight Parade: Deer Valley’s annual Torchlight Parade returns on the evening of December 30.

FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup: The FIS Freestyle World Cup returns February 1-4, and is to include a concert on Historic Main Street followed by three days of on-hill competition – fun for spectating.
