Memorial Day is the official summer kickoff to season of mountain biking, hiking, family reunions, wedding and family fun.  With spring in full swing, and summer right around the corner, you'll find Park City's mild weather and beautiful landscapes to be a perfect backdrop for your holiday weekend. You'll also find some things to do around Park City as well, like shopping and visiting the Park City Museum.

The Utah Olympic Park  is open May 25 to 27 for Memorial Day Weekend from 11:00 AM-6:00 PM.

Shopping Park City is perfect year round; everything from handmade furniture, books and sportswear to art collectibles and Western antiques. Historic Main Street is lined with quaint shops and galleries.

Anyone wishing to honor a loved one is invited to Run/Walk with friends, family, and the Park City community in this year's PCHS Memorial 5K.  All funds will benefit future humanitarian projects, PCHS seniors in need of financial assistance to attend college their freshman year, and help with partial scholarships for those going to Chennai, India this summer to work in some of the leprosy colonies there.  Click here to find out more and sign up today!

Park City is perfect for scenic drives, and many of our favorite scenic highways and byways will be open over Memorial weekend.  If you are looking for a short drive (just 14 miles) from Park City, you can't beat Guardsman Pass.  The Mirror Lake Scenic Byway is open, however there is still plenty of snow and the lakes are frozen and campgrounds have not officially opened at this time.
