One of the best things about traveling to new destinations is savoring what is truly unique about them. Park City is proud to be home to an array of local makers, artists, inventors, producers, and creators of products like art and jewelry, whiskey, wine, and beer to cheese, chocolates, honey, and fine meats. Many of these locally produced products can be found throughout the summer at weekly markets, like the Park Silly Market or the Farmer’s Market, as well as in a variety of retail locations. As a community, we feel immense pride for all of our makers who are tirelessly passionate about bringing their creations into this world and we love to help bring awareness to locally made products that you can bring home after your visit to our picturesque mountain town.

High West Distillery

In 2006, High West became Utah's first legal distillery since 1870. High West began with humble roots, opening a small, 250-gallon still and Saloon in a historic livery stable and garage. To tie in Park City’s past to their brand, the horseshoe in High West’s logo and on their bottle honors a shoe they found during the renovation of the “National Garage”, which was originally a livery stable to service the workhorses that pulled the heavy ore carts up and down to the mines. What was once a small operation in downtown Park City has grown to be an internationally-recognized, award-winning brand. High West sources whiskey from around the world, releasing seasonal blends and their own distilled whiskeys. Bottles such as Bourye and A Midwinter's Night Dram are sought after by enthusiasts and collectors alike. Right off the Quit'n Time ski run on Park Avenue and a short walk from Historic Main Street, the High West saloon is one of the few places that you can buy liquor on Sunday as they distill on-site and it's the only ski in/ski out distillery in North America. Stop by for dinner, a gift, bottles of premium whiskey, or just a cocktail and revel in High West's premium selection of spirits.

Ritual Chocolate

Much of the inspiration for Ritual Chocolate comes from living and creating a business in Park City. Getting outside into nature, mountain biking, skiing, and just being in the mountains is a big part of the Ritual Chocolate philosophy. These pro chocolatiers produce small batch, bean-to-bar chocolate using classic European methods and premium cacao from select sources. Founded in 2010 by Robbie Stout and Anna Davies, their mission is to produce exceptional quality chocolate while celebrating the complexity of the cacao bean. At their small factory in Park City, they are involved with the entire process because they want to ensure their values for the highest achievable quality are present every step of the way. They source some of the highest quality cacao in the world to make their chocolate, creating nuanced flavors specific to the regions the beans come from. Stop by their cafe on Iron Horse Drive for treats, coffee, pastries, bites, and of course chocolate. Bring home a gift bar bundle—because who wouldn’t be delighted by delicious chocolate made locally with care and intention?

Offset Bier Co

Park City Desserts

Shelley Marshall created the concept for Park City Desserts from her own gluten-free diet. The idea behind the bakery was to focus on allergy-conscious and healthy dessert options which include serving gluten-free, vegan, keto, and paleo pastries, but also some naughtier options like cupcakes and flourless chocolate cake. As for drinks, they feature an espresso and siphon bar as well as paleo and organic hot chocolate, matcha, golden milk chai, dirty chai, and an extensive selection of teas from Buddha Tea and Jasmine Pearl. Park City Desserts just moved into their new location inside the Treasure Mountain Inn, 255 Main Street, where you can enjoy some dreamy coffee and tasty treats right in the heart of Historic Park City.

Proverbial Spirits

Proverbial Spirits is Park City and Summit County’s newest distillery, attempting to shake things up in the spirit world. They are distillers of Gin and Rum creating these spirits from scratch with ingredients sourced locally whenever possible. They source local Utah corn and malted rye to mash and ferment into a beer that is then distilled into their base spirit. It’s redistilled with botanicals to create a unique well-balanced gin. Their rum is distilled from evaporated cane syrup and Caribbean molasses to create an easy drinking rum that mixes into great cocktails. They make everything right here in Utah to control the flavor profile to their highest standards. Borrowing the Proverbial phrase “Rules were meant to be broken,” The distillery's branding is colorful, playful, and downright fun. Full bottles can be purchased directly from the distilleries package agency store in Park City, just off Highway 40 frontage road at 4175 Forestdale Drive, Park City, UT 84098.

Park City Jewelers

What makes Park City Jewelers exceptionally unique is that they make a large portion of their jewelry in-store at their Park City location. Ken Whipple, founder, and owner of Park City Jewelers, has always had a fascination with geology and gemstones, and for the past 25 years, he has transformed this passion into one of the most unique jewelry stores you'll ever visit. Being in the heart of the world’s greatest skiing and snowboarding destination, it makes sense that inspiration would strike as these delicate bits of snow perfectly blanket the ground each winter. Almost 30 years ago, shortly after opening the store, such inspiration struck Ken, when he created the original Park City snowflake pendant. This is a great gift idea for the person who loves Park City and the greatest snow on Earth!
