Father's Day is the perfect time to thank the men who have impacted our lives. With less than a week until June 21, it's crunch time for last minute shoppers.  Fortunately, we have you covered - here are some of our favorite Park City gift ideas.

For the man who enjoys occasional (or frequent!) imbibes:
Whether it is Uinta's Hop Nosh IPA, Wasatch's Last One in Lager, or Park City Brewery's Breaking Trail Pale Ale, there is bound to be a local beer that will please his taste buds - treat him to a six-pack of one of Park City's local brews.

If he prefers spirits, grab a bottle of High West Distillery's Double Rye! whiskey.  With notes of cinnamon, honey, and anise, High West recommends serving this whiskey neat, with a dash of water, or on the rocks.  Is he more of a classic cocktail guy? Double Rye!'s flavor makes it the perfect whiskey for an Old Fashioned or a Manhattan.

Park City has also recently welcomed its first winery. Cognition Winery produces two wines - a 2012 Bordeaux blend and a 2013 Sauvignon Blanc - from grapes crushed and shipped from Napa Valley. Both wines are available for tasting and purchase at the winery.  Cheers!

For the history buff:
Take him to the Park City Museum to learn about Park City's mining history - long before the town was known for its acclaimed ski resorts.  You can also enjoy a special exhibit, in place for the summer, which is a behind the scenes of the Circus Big Top.  If he prefers something a bit more interactive, then try the Park City Historic Walking Tour. Combo tickets for both the museum and walking tour are also an option!

For the man with a green thumb:
For some, relaxation is found in the garden.  Check out some of Park City's nurseries. They offer a huge selection of plants, trees, and flowers.  Pick up some flowers and help him plant them this Father's Day - overwhelmed by the options? Many of the nurseries sell gift certificates, as well.

For the golfer:
There are nine golf courses, including both private and public, in the surrounding Park City area. Surprise him with a Hotel Park City Golf Package at Park City Golf Club or a round at the newly opened Canyons Golf Course.

The Hotel Park City golf package includes a one night stay at Hotel Park City, green fees for two, a cart, and range balls.  Park City Golf Club is one of the premier public golf courses throughout the intermountain region.  Located at 6,700 ft., the elevation is said to add distance to your shots - a definite confidence booster.

Canyons Golf Course covers 97 acres within the Canyons Resort footprint and features 550 ft. of elevation change.  The new course offers beautiful views of the Wasatch and Uinta mountain ranges.

For the foodie:
Treat him to brunch, lunch, or dinner at one of many delicious Park City's restaurants. There are numerous outdoor dining options throughout town, highlighting the beauty of summer in Park City.

Looking for something out of the ordinary? Try a Park City Food Tour, "the original Walking Historical Tour with a culinary twist." The tour takes you to some of Historic Main Street's best restaurants to taste their signature dishes, while a local Park City guide provides you with some of the mining town's rich history.

For the adventurer:
Whether he likes to hike or bike, hydration is key - especially in Park City's high altitude.  Head to one of Park City's mountain outfitters for a hydration pack made by Osprey, Camelbak, or Poc (to name a few).  Hydration packs come in all shapes and sizes, so finding the perfect option to suit his activity's needs will be easy!

For the man who "wants nothing":
Is he an animal lover?  A theater fan?  A conservationist?  Park City is home to a variety of non-profits that help promote and support the greater community, making it a wonderful place to both live and visit. Choose from one of many organizations, and make a donation in his name.
