Park City is making a transition. Originally a mining town, Park City is now on the map because it is one of the best ski/snowboard destinations in the world. However, what is becoming increasingly apparent is that there is another reason people are booking their tickets to Park City: to eat! Many people are surprised to learn that a small mountain town in Utah is becoming such a hot-spot for foodies, but with more chefs per capita than Paris, Park City isn't leaving much room for discussion. This year, Park City was honored to host the Association of Food Journalists annual conference and introduce some fantastic food writers to its dining scene.

Stuart Melling was an attendee of the 2013 Association of Food Journalists Annual Conference, and reviewed the experience in a post on his website: Gastronomic Salt Lake City. To read about Stuart's experience, please click here.
