Where to Dine in Park City During Sundance Film Festival

While Park City has been the home to the Sundance Film Festival for over 30 years, we are also home to over 100 stellar bars and restaurants that shine throughout the year. In fact, check out this list of Condé Nast Traveler that spotlights 10 of their Park City favorites.

Condé Nast Traveler says Chef Briar Handly knows a thing or two about the elusive concept of 'Utah' cuisine (his Caramel Budino with Chex Topping was chosen as the state representative for the NYTimes' 50 thanksgiving recipes). His new restaurant, Handle, utilizes his culinary know-how to offer a menu of local and regional ingredients with standout dishes like buffalo cauliflower and smoked trout sausage. But during Sundance, sometimes scoring a dinner reservations can be just as challenging as getting tickets to a sold-out premiere. And to make things even trickier, some restaurants are bought out completely during peak Festival dates.

With some advance planning, and a sense of adventure, you can still catch dinner and a movie during Sundance. According to the Park City Restaurant Association (PCARA) more than a dozen bars, restaurants and lounges will stay open to the general public through Sundance, which runs Thursday, January 22, to Sunday, February 1, 2015).
