Category - Summer in Park City

Park City First Timers is back for summer, with a new host, and six new episodes.

In our first summer episode, our host, Ryan, and a few of his friends join Destination Sports and Adventures to raft the Weber River. They meet their guide, Trixie, in Henefer – just outside of Park City.

The Park Silly Sunday Market, a summer favorite for Park City locals (aka Park Sillians) and visitors alike, celebrates its 11th anniversary this summer. Held on Park City’s Historic Main Street, the Park Silly Sunday Market opens for the season on June 4 at 10:00 AM and continues every Sunday through September 17.  Admission is free.

While Park City is often recognized as a world-class winter resort destination, summers here are truly magical.  Perfect temperatures, 400+ miles of easy-access trails, outdoor deck dining galore, and let us not forget the plethora of live music and outdoor concert venues.  Park City and Summit County’s live music scene is booming, and includes something for every budget (some are FREE!) and every taste.

Hosted by the Park City Gallery Association, the Last Friday Gallery Stroll, is a fun (and free) monthly community event dedicated to highlighting artists and special exhibits at art galleries throughout town.  Park City’s art scene continues to thrive, offering a robust variety of unique art collections from local, national, and international artists. On the last Friday of each month, 19 members of the Park City Gallery Association open their doors for visitors and locals alike to enjoy light refreshments and to admire their latest art installations.
