Every small town has a few shops that everyone knows and loves. In Park City, Java Cow is one of those. Located on Historic Main Street in Old Town Park City, Java Cow is a staple for locals and visitors alike. Best known for their homemade ice cream, locally baked goods, and coffee, Java Cow has a little bit of something for everyone. It’s a must-visit shop if you’re visiting Park City with kids, but it’s also just as great to go there even if you don’t have little ones in tow.

Over the summer dining outside became a true staple with more restaurants creating an abundance of outdoor spaces for diners to enjoy meals. While winter does pose some challenges for dining outside, restaurants have come up with unique and creative ways for restaurant-goers to not only feel safe but also have a special dining experience, after what may be months of not dining out. Dining in alpenglobes, igloos, yurts, and other inventive spaces have become the trendy thing to do this winter to create captivating atmospheres, AND I am here for it! If there’s one thing the pandemic has done, it’s made going out to dinner a special occasion once again, and with the addition of these fun and inviting winter dining options, the outdoor patio has been elevated as the go-to place to sit and enjoy a meal. Below I’ve highlighted a number of dining options in Park City that have embraced these alternative dining options.

Whether it’s discovering the Oaxacan spiced hot chocolate in Mexico, walking along the Sydney Harbour with a brownie in hand, or going on a dark chocolate tour in Brussels, traveling and chocolate have always gone hand in hand for me.
But something I’ve uncovered is that I don’t actually have to leave home to sample some of the best chocolate, as Park City is an absolute gem for chocolate in all forms and varieties.

To the uninformed visitor, the words “Utah” and “award-winning distillery” might seem at odds. But High West, along with Alpine Distilling, have once and for all disproved the idea that you can’t get a decent drink in the Beehive State.

Park City is a far cry from an Australian beach town. But thanks to Five5eeds, located in the Snow Creek shopping center, you can experience a genuine Aussie “brekkie” right here in the midst of a ski town.

Park City may not be the first place that comes to mind for award-winning spirits. But this ski town is proving to be a hotbed of distilling action, with Alpine Distilling joining High West in the ranks of local distilleries gaining international acclaim.
