It’s hard to believe that 2017 is drawing to an end. As with every New Year, it’s always fun to make a list of resolutions or of new things you want to try. Maybe the list includes items that are outside your comfort zone, or something you’ve never even thought to try. We put together a Park City-oriented list for you to consider as you think about what you want your 2018 to include!

December – it’s a time to celebrate the holidays with family and friends and it also marks the true beginning of ski season. While it’s always fun to hit the slopes, especially around Christmas, there are other ways to enjoy the month of December in Park City.  With an abundance of off-slope activities to choose from, you’ll end your Park City vacation with enough memories to last a lifetime. Here are a few ideas for you to explore while trying to decide what to do in Park City this December:

The Park Silly Sunday Market, a summer favorite for Park City locals (aka Park Sillians) and visitors alike, celebrates its 11th anniversary this summer. Held on Park City’s Historic Main Street, the Park Silly Sunday Market opens for the season on June 4 at 10:00 AM and continues every Sunday through September 17.  Admission is free.

Hosted by the Park City Gallery Association, the Last Friday Gallery Stroll, is a fun (and free) monthly community event dedicated to highlighting artists and special exhibits at art galleries throughout town.  Park City’s art scene continues to thrive, offering a robust variety of unique art collections from local, national, and international artists. On the last Friday of each month, 19 members of the Park City Gallery Association open their doors for visitors and locals alike to enjoy light refreshments and to admire their latest art installations.
