Fifty or so years ago, when the first ski resort opened in Park City, Utah, you never would have guessed that this former mining boomtown tucked into the Wasatch Mountains would soon be considered one of America's top ski resorts, complete with five-star hotels, gourmet restaurants and more than 10,000 skiable acres. With all those restaurants, luxury hotel rooms and staggering natural beauty, it really shouldn't come as too much of a surprise that that the town has emerged as a top summer destination as well.
