It’s a wintery morning in Park City. Snow caps the mountains, a brisk chill is in the air, and we at the Park City Chamber of Commerce have decked our heads with beanies. It’s hard to believe that it’s that time of year again. If the snow and cold weren’t enough of a clue, the oversized toy-drive boxes at our office and Visitors Center leave no room for doubt that it is beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
This holiday season, we are partnering with the Christian Center of Park City (CCPC)’s Operation Hope. As CCPC’s biggest event of the year, Operation Hope allows everyone to help families in Wasatch and Summit Counties, and the Goshute Reservation in Western Utah have a merry Christmas.

Last year, Operation Hope served 710 families, 1,780 Children, and 250 Volunteers. During their previous event, Back-2-School-Basics, in August, they saw a 25% increase in kids from the year before. And a similar increase is expected this year with Operation Hope.
As part of our partnership, the Chamber will have a donation box at our office located at 1850 Sidewinder #320 and at the Visitor Information Center located at 1794 Olympic Parkway, where members can donate new, unwrapped toys between November 17 and December 8. For every new toy donated, members can enter into a prize drawing for 1 of 5 $100 gift cards to Park City restaurants. The drawing will take place at our Business After Hours Mixer at Dressed Design Mixer on December 8.
You can also give financially online, donate gift cards or gifts online (CCPC has an Amazon Wish List), volunteer your time, or host a toy-drive box at your business. Visit CCPC’s website for full details and how to contribute.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and we hope you’ll partner with us to help spread Christmas cheer this holiday season!
