The Park City Chamber/Bureau Hosts Successful
Meeting Planner Event in Los Angeles
PARK CITY, UTAH (February 12, 2010) - The Park City Chamber Bureau provided an opportunity for meeting planners to learn more about the Park City meeting and convention product at an exclusive lunch held at the Montage Beverly Hills on February 4, 2010. These In-Market Receptions are extremely beneficial to the Chamber/Bureau and provide an excellent opportunity to meet and network with key decision makers and planners who are responsible for bringing meetings and conventions to Park City. "The Park City Chamber/Bureau is pleased with the turnout of the February 4th event in Los Angeles and the opportunity we were given to present and discuss the Park City meeting product among 31 qualified meeting planners," said Bill Malone, President and CEO of the Chamber/Bureau. "We have received numerous compliments on the event from participants. Our team returned to Park City with strong meeting prospects and looks forward to these planners having meeting and convention business in Park City in the future."
Representatives from the Park City Marriott, Stein Eriksen Lodge, Montage Deer Valley, Park City Peaks, Newpark Resort, The Canyons Resort and The Westgate Resort joined the Park City Chamber/Bureau staff at the Los Angeles event. Each hotel partner met with planners in a mini trade show and during lunch shared information about their property. Meeting planners also previewed summer and winter videos and a Chamber/Bureau presentation that highlighted the benefits of hosting a meeting or convention in Park City.
