Ski Butlers"Park City is a community following its passion," says Bryn Carey of his hometown. "We've traded cities and commuting for the outdoors and recreation, and there is so much energy and opportunity."

Bryn should know. He started Ski Butlers in a Daly Avenue garage, delivering rented skis to visitors. "The first year, we sold out gear and maxed out our delivery vans," he recalls. Today, Ski Butlers operates in 50 resorts around the US, Canada, France, and Italy, hand-delivering Rossignol skis, snowboards, and other gear. "You pack your suitcases; we pick up your equipment," Bryn summarizes.

If he could have been born on skis, Bryn probably would have. "I grew up near Sugarloaf in Maine," he recalls. "I skied opening lift to closing lift every weekend." After high school in Park City, where his dad managed marketing for The Canyons, Bryn captained the University of New Hampshire ski team. "That is how I learned to lead competitive high achievers," he says.

Once in the ski business, Bryn's alert and open mind set his company apart. For example, he placed climate at the center of his decision-making over a decade ago, even switching banks to avoid financing fossil fuels. He believes climate action is a way of giving back, a Ski Butlers' core value. "Our team volunteers, and we've supported Live PC /Give PC since the beginning. We're always giving back, and we will do it forever."

Bryn believes Park City is the perfect place for his seize-the-day energy. "This town is filled with big thinkers and successful people," he says. "I love being part of the momentum."

When friends come to town, let them know Ski Butlers is the best way to get outfitted for a PC ski experience and to connect with the true Park City spirit.
