"Jumping right in at the no. 1 spot this year, Park City seems to be having a moment," reads the Park City photo caption. "Readers call it "a great place that brings city life to outdoor enthusiasts, film geeks, and families." A "beautiful small town with a big presence," it's blessed with "hip culture, a party atmosphere, and tons of history." Even at the height of winter ski season or the Sundance Film Festival in January, "the locals were extremely friendly and welcoming."
The accolades don't stop there, Condé Nast Traveler readers also ranked Park City #7 among the list of The 30 Best Small Cities in America. Please click HERE to view that article.
"We are equally pleased and proud that our community is being recognized by the readers of Condé Nast Traveler as the friendliest city in the United States." says Bill Malone, President and CEO of the Park City Chamber/Bureau. "There appears to be a strong correlation between beautiful towns and great hospitality, and the readers' votes reflect that."
Each year, Condé Nast Traveler turns to its readers for their expertise and opinions to help select the world's top hotels, resorts, spas, mountains, and more. In April, the Park City Chamber/Bureau received news that 20 Chamber members were nominated for Condé Nast Traveler Readers' Choice Awards.
Sharing the news through the Chamber/Bureau's social media platforms, a dedicated Instagram campaign, membership newsletters and local media, the Park City community rallied to get out the vote.
Condé Nast Traveler will continue to release the results of this year's Readers' Choice Awards through the fall, and full results will published in the November 2015 print edition of Condé Nast Traveler.
