Eight Park City hotels recognized in Readers' Choice hotel rankings

Condé Nast Traveler has announced the results of their 2015 Readers' Choice Awards and Park City is #3 in the "Best Small Cities in the U.S." category. This news follows an announcement in August that Park City was named the "Friendliest City in America" by Condé Nast Traveler readers.

"The Sundance Film Festival isn't the only reason to visit Park City. Here, you can try some of the country's best biking, skiing, hiking, and water sports, or simply take in breathtaking alpine scenery as you stroll its frontier-town Main Street. Fuel up on small plates and craft cocktails at Handle, or make your own salsa at El Chubasco, a Mexican favorite." Condé Nast Traveler says on its website.

Adding to the accolades are the Park City properties that graced many of Condé Nast Traveler's "Top" lists.

Four Park City lodging properties were listed among the "Top 100 Hotels in the World": St. Regis Deer Valley (#27), Stein Eriksen Lodge (#30), Hotel Park City (#32), and Montage Deer Valley (#82).

Park City properties also dominated the "Top 20 Resorts in the West" category, taking seven of the top 20 spots: St. Regis Deer Valley (#4), Stein Eriksen Lodge (#5), Hotel Park City (#6), Montage Deer Valley (#7), Hyatt Escala Lodge at Park City (#10), Lodges at Deer Valley (#12), and Waldorf Astoria Park City (#13).

The "Top 25 Resorts in the U.S." had many Park City names on it, as well: St. Regis Deer Valley (#8), Stein Eriksen Lodge (#10), Hotel Park City (#12), and Montage Deer Valley (#25) all made the list. Finally, The Chateaux Deer Valley placed in a top spot (#6) on the list of "Top 15 Hotels in the West."

"I am incredibly proud of our entire community as these honors speak volumes to the excellence in leadership, staff, service and the overall guest experience in Park City," said Bill Malone, Park City Chamber of Commerce/Convention & Visitors Bureau President and CEO.

Condé Nast Traveler's Readers' Choice Awards are determined through the magazine's annual reader poll. More than 128,000 travelers participated this year's survey.
