The Canyons Resort is opening up more than 120 hectares / 300 acres of exciting new intermediate runs and breathtaking natural glades for those who want to test their skills. You will find more powder stashes and more thrills from this beautiful new addition that expands the total resort terrain to 1,600 hectares / 4,000 acres. Our new state-of-the-art high-speed chairlift, Lookout Express, is one of the longest in North America and, with enclosed canopies and heated seats, it's also one of the most comfortable. Bringing the total lift count to 18, skiers and boarders can expect to spend less time waiting and more time enjoying the mountain.
Choose from our selection of six premier mountainside lodging properties, including the elegant Waldorf Astoria Park City, all just steps from the Resort Village and the Flight of The Canyons gondola. Located in the legendary ski town of Park City, the Canyons is Utah's largest single ski & snowboard resort and one of the five largest in the US with over 3,700 acres of lift-served, skiable terrain. Encompassing 17 lifts (all but two of them new since 1997) and 150 runs. The Canyons holds treasures for everyone: miles of gracious, groomed cruisers and bowls, a dedicated mid-mountain beginner area with three lifts and snowboard terrain ranging from the sublime to the outrageous.

Runs and Terrain
Already known by locals to have some of the best terrain in Utah, the Canyons offers 150 pistes on nine mountain peaks spread over 4,000 acres.
Lifts
19 total lifts: 1 eight-passenger high-speed gondola, 4 four-passengers high-speed express chairs, 5 four -passenger high capacity chairs, 2 three-passenger chairs, 2 surface lifts, 2 two-passenger fixed grip chair, 1 eight-passenger high-speed cabriolet. Uphill capacity is 29,900 skiers per hour.
Lodging
The Canyons offers several slope side properties including the Canyons Grand Summit Resort Hotel, a AAA Four-Diamond property, Silverado Lodge and Sundial Lodge. The vacation specialists at Central Reservations at the Canyons can plan complete vacations including lodging slope side or in The Canyons Resort Village as well in neighboring properties.
Snowboarding
The Canyons embraces snowboarding with a variety of terrain including a terrain park built for riders by riders.
Ski School
The Canyons offers revolutionary lesson programs with easy, and enjoyable instruction that will improve your on-mountain fun. Whether you're just starting out or polishing your competitive technique, the Canyons lesson programs will take your best and make it better.

To purchase group lift tickets, please call the group sales office at 435-615-3417, or e-mail us at hhenriksen@thecanyons.com to book. Arrangements must be made at least 48 hours in advance. The Canyons provides one complimentary group lift ticket for every 25 purchased. All group lift tickets are commissionable to travel, reservation and lodging companies.
