Snowboarding

Snowboarding is a sport inspired by skateboarding, surfing and skiing.  It was developed in the U.S.A. in the 1960s and the 1970s and became a Winter Olympic Sport in 1998, and made famous by the U.S. sweep in the half-pipe at the 2002 Winter Olympics held in Park City.  Both Park City Mountain Resort and The Canyons offer snowboarders numerous terrain parks, half-pipes and acres of free riding terrain.  On any given day, some of the world's best snowboarders can be found riding in the parks and pipes in Park City. No snowboarding please at Deer Valley Resort.
