Park City Summer Events
If the extent of spicing up your life entails trying a different salsa at your favorite taco joint, it's time to turn up the heat for summertime fun in Park City. A vacation in Park City is a hot ticket, flavored with performing arts, music, events and festivals. Set against the backdrop of majestic mountains, your spirits will rise as you experience exciting celebrations, such as our regionally famous Park City Kimball Arts Festival, the Park City Food & Wine Classic, the rip-roarin' Oakley Rodeo, the melodically inspiring Utah Symphony & Opera's Deer Valley Music Festival or the Big Stars Bright Nights summer concert series. You'll easily feel your temperature rise as you take in one of several international biking competitions, local rodeos or our annual Park City Marathon.
We think it's time you make our forefather's proud and swell with American pride as you savor an old-fashioned 4th of July Celebration. Park City's traditional Independence Day Celebration includes a full day of sizzling activities, starting with a pancake breakfast at City Park, 5K walk/run and mid-morning parade down Historic Main Street, followed by a picnic and free live entertainment and games for children at City Park. Cap off the evening with an exploding fireworks show at dusk. If you can't fulfill your patriotic duty to vacation here over the 4th, we'll let it slide this one time and offer you equally fun and action-packed Miner's Day Celebration and "Running of the Balls" over Labor Day weekend.
No matter when your schedule calls for kicked-up excitement levels with a vacation to Park City, our Calendar of Events will keep you in the loop for all the hot events peppered in and around town during your stay.
